Secure transacting with ADIGonline

We are aware that new generation viruses/Trojans/worms are being used to attempt fraud on online banking facilities including ADIG Online.

The most effective protection against this is to regularly update your computer virus software.

Virus programs are only as effective as their last update. Use a reputable program and subscribe for regular updates.

Your best form of defence is to use a good quality virus software which is updated at least daily.

Key security Principals:

· Never go to our login page from a link in this or any other email - use our website only.  There are many emails going around purporting to be from various banks asking people to click on a link and login to their internet banking, with various reasons offered. What this does of course is take you to a mock up login site which is only designed to capture your password as you enter it.

·

· Retype our home page web address or select it from your favourites when you are using the webpage to get to ADIGonline.

·

· Change your password regularly and use a combination of letters, numbers and other characters. Don't use obvious things that can be guessed, such as names of children or pets.

·

· Use and update virus protection on your computer. As discussed above.

  • If ever in doubt, or something doesn't seem quite right, don't go through with your transaction and phone us immediately.

Only go to the ADIGonline login page from our website, never from links in emails or anywhere else
