ADIG's role in our Diocese includes making cash distributions to parishes and the Diocese, from our annual surplus.

In 2007 ADIG provided $100,000 for our Diocese for World Youth Day activities, and in 2008 contributed an additional $75,000.

Term Deposit and At-Call Rates Increased.

All savings rates increase by 0.25% from August 1. Some samples are:

Did You Know? :

With    you can obtain your interest for the last financial year.

Hover your mouse over the PERSONAL menu and click on Interest YTD

This will display total interest earned for all accounts under this member number, for the current year

as well as previous financial year.

The wording "current" and "previous" is quite literal, so previous financial year is the year ended 30/6/08.

So if you are doing your tax  return, it is the previous financial year figures that you need.

For accounts under separate member numbers, you need to log into these independently. Even though

you can see transactions for linked member numbers, you cannot get the interest summary for these

when logging in through a different number.

 More on World Youth Day

World Youth Day has been a wonderful event in our Diocese. Over 300 youth from our Diocese made the trip to Sydney for World Youth Day as registered pilgrims.

In January, the Journey of the Cross and Icon ventured into many of our parishes over several days.

Days in the Diocese, just prior to World Youth Day in Sydney, saw hundreds of American, Belgian, Canadian, German and Filipino pilgrims visit our Diocese and experience country hospitality and a taste of Australia.

The Diocesan WYD team did a wonderful job in organising all these activities in our Diocese and ADIG congratulates them.

ADIG also thanks our depositors, without whom, ADIG distributions such as the World Youth Day funding over the last two years are simply not possible. The $175,000 from ADIG funded buses in the Diocese, some travel expenses for pilgrims from our Diocese travelling to Sydney, banners and fireworks in the Diocese, assisted with functions and entertaining overseas pilgrims in our parishes, and scores of other things!
